British textile artist Naomi Paul’s ingenious design for light fixtures begins with magnificent crochet sleeves built over metal rings creating sumptuous forms…
These pendants are at the same time dramatic and playful, modern and organic. Paul’s intent on using surplus, recycled, and repurposed materials is as intriguing as her innovative designs.
The OMI collection: Sonne, Gluck and Monika started with the goal to create a flat pack pendent. Each fixture is made by hand. A traditional crochet technique fabric made from merchandized cotton and silk, a surplus material from the fashion industry that would other wise be discarded.
Available in limited edition color ways depending on what the fashion houses have to offer up each season. The pieces are beautiful sculptural elements whether the lights are on or off.
Bakelite fittings, fabric cord and lumen low energy light bulb by hulger included.
